The official opening for our latest exhibition will be held on Thursday 19th July, 2018, from 6:30pm. An artist talk will also be held on Sunday 29th July from 2pm to close the exhibition.

Fragments, curated by local artist Hape Kiddle is the is the next installment of Western Riverina Art’s program ‘Activating Narrandera Arts’ to be held at the Narrandera Arts and Community Centre from Monday 16th – Sunday 29th July 2018. This program has seen curators hired to present a series of exhibitions over two years, and has been made possible by funding from the Federal Government through the Regional Arts Fund

Kiddle, a carver and jeweller based at Bidgee Studio, Griffith, has developed the concept for Fragments which includes his own work and the work of several other artists and practitioners from around the region. Each artist has been given a piece of Red Gum and Kiddle is loosely mentoring each of them to respond to the material in their own way, applying their own practices, methods, and individuality produce something original for this exhibition.

The exhibition will be open from Monday 16th July to Sunday 29th July, daily from 10am - 4pm.

The official opening will be held Thursday 19th July from 6:30pm. Light refreshments will be available. Free entry but donations are welcome.
