Western Riverina Arts is offering the following small grants:

·      Grants between $300 - $500.

·      Five grants available at $1000

This a quick application turnaround. The grants are open on an ongoing basis until close of business Monday 23rd October 2023, or until funds have been expended.

ELIGIBILITY

  • You must be based in the Western Riverina Arts region which includes Griffith, Leeton, Narrandera and Murrumbidgee Shires.

  • You can be an individual, organisation or arts-based business.

  • Your request must be arts related.

  • One grant per applicant will be awarded if successful.

  • You must not have any outstanding grant acquittals with Western Riverina Arts, including previous rounds of our Micro Grants.

  • You need to be currently listed or have submitted an entry for your FREE artist listing on the CREATIVE RIVERINA online database, a partnership with Eastern Riverina Arts. Visit creativeriverina.com to find out more.

WHAT CAN THE GRANT BE USED FOR?

WRA is keeping broad criteria.  We are making it possible to use this grant for things that arts funding often does not cover. We will consider a wide range of requests including:

  • A small-scale project delivered.

  • Operational Costs.

  • Workshop facilitation.

  • Equipment to help you deliver your arts practice online.

  • Access to training to upskill you in online delivery.

  • New ways of marketing or sharing your arts business.

Ineligible activities include competition, prize money, and non-arts related activities.

TIME FRAME

  • The Western Riverina Arts Micro Grants 2023 round opens on Monday 18th September 2023.

  • Applications are open until COB Monday 23rd October 2023 or until funds are expended.

  • Applications will be assessed as they are submitted.

  • Successful recipients will be announced during the following weeks and funding agreements sent out.

  • Successful applicants need to return the signed funding agreements with an invoice to Western Riverina Arts for the amount granted.

  • You will need to send a short report or an update, four weeks after receiving the funds.

  • Get social! Please send us photos or videos of your grant related projects - we would love to promote our Micro Grant stories. Use the hashtag #WRAMicroGrants23.

  • Recipients are required to complete and return the reporting form after the completion of their project.
