Local Aboriginal Artists Workshops by Western Riverina Arts

Western Riverina Arts and Griffith Regional Art Gallery will be holding two days of workshops for Aboriginal artists next week at Darlington Point.

Wednesday 15th / Thursday 16th March: 9.30am - 5pm,Waddi Housing, Darlington Point.

Participants will work as a group to create new work for the Warangesda exhibition, with arts materials provided. We will also undertake site visits to the old Warangesda Mission over the two days. 

It's not too late to get involved and any local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists still wanting to come along should get in touch now!

Warangesda Marramarra follows the hugely successful Murrumbidgee Marramarra exhibition in 2016, and will produce the outcome of an exhibition of works at Griffith Regional Art Gallery during NAIDOC week in 2017.
