With funding support from Create NSW and Regional Arts NSW, Narrandera Arts and Creative Network (NACNet) is holding a series of three 2-day visual art workshops facilitated by Griffith artist Jo Southorn.
The first of the 3 workshops will be held on Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th August, 9:30am - 4:30pm, and will be based on art journalling, drawing, and plant printing on silk/cotton.
Workshop 2 will be held on the 16th and 17th September and will be based on relief printmaking and artist books.
Workshop 3 will be held on the 7th and 8th October will bring the project together with a variety of methods such as concertina, cut and fold, stitch signatures, silk stitching and printing.
Cost of the 3 workshops is $300 for non-members and $150 for members. Materials are included in the cost.
First workshop will be held at the Narrandera Scout Hall, 9 Sturt Street (near the catholic church). Please check with NACNet for the location of the 2nd and 3rd workshops.
