Griffith Regional Theatre is gearing up to present their biggest, most ambitious community musical yet. WICKED – the untold story of the Witches of Oz, coming to Griffith for a 10 day season in June and tickets are on sale NOW!
Director Don Hillam said after last year’s successful production of Beauty and the Beast he is looking forward to once again showcasing the many talents Griffith has to offer.
“Wicked is technically and vocally one of the hardest musical productions but beauty and the beast showed me there is plenty of hidden talent in Griffith and we are more than able to put on a good show,” Mr Hillam said. “I am looking forward to showcasing the talent of both the young and old"
The community production has a cast and crew of just under 100 and will include a live band, lighting, magicians, flying apparatus and costumes and sets from Melbourne theatre company CLOC.
