The workshop content has been designed for people who are interested in getting into the music industry as an electronic musician/producer, or for musicians who want to add more to their music and live performance. The workshops will cover a range of topics, including but not limited to: Electronic Music Production (EMP) using Ableton Live, the history of women in the EMP environment, maximising our personal technical skill and music production potential.Participants can expect to come away from this workshop with a basic understanding of electronic music production, with no prior experience necessary.
For this tour we have a team of experienced arts practitioners who collectively facilitate the workshops. This means participants can enjoy both the energy of a group dynamic, and when required, one on one support from facilitators. We aim to inspire young people to learn basic EMP skills through which they can explore and communicate their own ideas and opinions about their experience of the world. Our workshop delivery combines commercial and industry knowledge with humour and passion.
